 Biosketch Enrolled nurse; Diploma in Nursing (General); Diploma in Midwifery; Diploma in Community Health Nursing Science; Diploma in Advanced Midwifery and Neonatal Nursing Science; Bachelor of Nursing with Nursing Administration and Nursing Education; Master in Nursing (Full Research) obtained in January 2017, and is currently registered as a PhD candidate.

Joined the Nursing Department at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in August 2013. Has extensive experience in clinical teaching and facilitation of nursing students in the clinical setting both in general nursing and midwifery, having worked in the general clinical teaching department and the midwifery clinical teaching department at Addington hospital for more than 10 years.

Currently my job entails classroom teaching of BN Midwifery 4th year students; clinical facilitation and supervision in the clinical setting and the clinical skills lab (simulated), across all 4 levels of training in the BN programme. My job also entails classroom teaching in the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Coursework Masters Degree ProgrammeChild and Adolescent Health Module.
