She is a registered in General, Midwifery, Community and Psychiatric nursing science

She specialised in Nephrology Nursing which is also her field of expertise in research

She obtained her Bachelor’s degree specializing in Nursing Education and Nursing Management, Honors and Masters from University of South Africa

She now holds Doctor of Philosophy Degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

After working in the Department of Health for several years in the clinical area, she became a lecturer in the KwaZulu-Natal College of nursing for before joining the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

Her current Position: Lecturer at University of KwaZulu-Natal – School of Nursing and Public Health – Nursing Discipline

In recognition of her expertise in the nephrology, she has presented her research work in a number of countries locally and internationally
